UVICOAT 4550
UVICOAT # 4550 is a U.V. radiation curable paint based on modified acrylic. It provides fast curing, excellent adhesion, scratch and abrasion resistance, staining resistance, very good chemical and mechanical property.
Designed to be used as topcoat for high quality furniture, plywood and floor panels, MDF etc.

- Substrate should be free from contaminant such as oil and dust etc.
- Moisture content of timber should be kept below 15 percent.
- Since UVICOAT # 4550 does contain photoinitiator, it is advisable to monitor regularly the shelf life especially after opening the container.
UVICOAT # 4550 contains non dangerous solvents, nevertheless use protective gloves and eye goggles when handling this product. It is recommended to provide proper ventilation on working area. If contact with skin or splash in eyes, wash with fresh water and seek medical advice.
Store in the dark, cool and dry places under normal temperature and humidity. Shelf life of 4 months at 300C room temperature.
