UVICOAT #1500 is a mono-component polyester/epoxy acrylate oligomer based U.V. radiation-curable paint. It provides fast curing, excellent adhesion, scratch and abrasion resistance, staining resistance, very good chemical and mechanical property.
Designed to be used as a topcoat for high-quality furniture, plywood and floor panels, etc.

Flash Point – >60ºC
Coverage – 20 – 30 g/m2
Curing Speed – 6 – 7m/min. – 2 – 3 lamps: irradiation – Distance: 15 cm. – 1 lamp Hg + 1 lamp Ga.
Application Condition – Air temperature 5ºC Relative Humidity 85% max.
Application Method – Reverse Roller
Dilution – Not required
- Substrate should be free from contaminant such as oil and dust, etc.
- Moisture content of timber should be kept below 15%.
- Surface to be top coated with UVICOAT #1500 should be primed with UVISEAL #1200/1250 or any U.V. Curing Sealer.
