PU SANDING SEALER #1347 EX is a polyurethane sealer based on special resin with high covering property, elasticity and good sandability. Because of the excellent quality of raw materials, it does give a covering film of great transparency, micro bubble-free and requires minimum coat.

Best for furniture, office tables, shelves, turned pieces, cabinets and all woodwork with deep grains and critical surfaces. It can be used in an automatic spraying machine, conventional, and multicoated system.

Application Method – Manual/ Automatic Spray

Recommended Catalyst – Catalyst #012

Thinner – PU Thinner #105/205

Mixing (Wt.%) – Base 100, Cat. 50

Thinner – 30-40

Pot Life @ 25ºC – 2 – 4 hours

VOC – 605g/L

Drying Time @ 20ºC – Dust-free 15 – 20 min., To Touch 35 – 45 min., Sandable 2 – 3 hrs., To Recoat 2 – 6 hours

Coverage – 120 – 150 gms/m2

Recoating – Minimum of 30 min. – max 3 hrs. with medium sanding 240/360 mesh sandpaper is recommended before subsequent coat.

Prepare the surface to be painted with a manual or automatic sanding machine.

  • Apply the required dyes or stain (optional).
  • Apply 1-2 coat of PU Sanding Sealer #1347 EX with the corresponding catalyst diluted with PU Thinner (30-40%), vertically and horizontally.
  • After the sealer coat got dried, sand it with medium sandpaper up to the extent not to damage the substrate.
  • If required, apply wood putty transparent on nail holes, cracks and joints.
  • Apply 1-2 coats of PU Sanding Sealer #1347 EX, 30-40% dilution (120-150gms/m2) prior to the final sanding and top coating.
