PU matt #551as
PU MATT #551 AS is a premium polyurethane pigmented lacquer based on poly – functional saturated polyester resins and special additives, to provide smooth and satin finish with excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical stress. It has extremely surface hardness and good scratch resistance.
PU MATT #551 AS is excellent for wood furniture such as beds, table top, cabinets, chairs, sofas, doors, hand rails and frames.

Surface to be top coated must be primed with PU Primer White or Polyester Primer White.
It should be cleaned, well-sanded and free from dust, oil water and other contaminants.
To a well – prepared surface, apply 1 – 2 coat of PU MATT #551 AS, horizontally and vertically.
One or two coat may be sufficient for ordinary finish; however, to obtain a good finish, additional coat can be applied wet to wet if necessary. Light sanding with 400 – 600 grit sand paper is recommended before subsequent coat when recoating exceeds 3 hrs. and remove traces of wax.
Full hardness can be achieved after 3 days after the application.
