MAS MASONRY AR PRIMER is a solvent based impregnating sealer based on silane/siloxane. It is formulated to reduce efflorescence due to soluble salts and to prevent the growth of fungus and other micro-organisms.

It is widely used as impregnating sealer for exterior and interior to provide a water proofed and thus gives a durable coat either absorbed into or on the top of the surface depending on the porosity of the surface. Recommended for concrete, brickwork, cement plaster, natural or cast stone and gypsum.

New Concrete:
MAS MASONRY AR PRIMER can be applied by roller or spray when the surface has been dried after the finishing operation. This product does not require surface preparation and can be applied immediately onto surface. Remove all loose debris and other foreign matters prior to application.

Old Concrete:
Concrete should be free from oil, dust and other contaminants. Existing old paints should be removed by mechanical sanding or abrading is much preferred to obtain an effective adhesion. Any damaged areas should be repaired by using putty filler or any grouting materials.

MAS MASONRY AR PRIMER can be applied by brush or roller. Apply the material uniformly with an interval of 2 hrs. per coat. 1-2 coats are recommended at a rate of 10m2/L. Coverage varies depending on the porosity of the surface. No mixing or dilution is recommended due to its ready to use viscosity.
