HYDROTUFF (ANTI BACTERIAL)

HYDROTUFF (ANTI BACTERIAL) is a mono – component water – based acrylic dispersion for interior/exterior wood coating. It is developed to provide a hard resistant film with excellent abrasion, film transparency, flow properties, high flexibility and environment-friendly. It contains anti bacterial component suitable for the protection against algal and fungal attack for surface coatings.
It is best recommended for coating floor surfaces, furniture, turn pieces, bamboo canes and the like. HYDROTUFF (ANTI BACTERIAL) with its active ingredients has been proven through extensive lab testings according to the methods SM 022/023 against common bacteria.

Recoating:
Two coats may be sufficient for ordinary finish, allow 2 hrs. drying between coats, light sanding with 400 ~ 600 mesh sand paper is recommended before subsequent coat when recoating time exceeds 8 hours and remove traces of wax.

Store in the dark, cool and dry places. Shelf life up to 15 months in closed container.

  • The mixture is ready for use and can be applied by brush or spray. Surface to be coated must be free of dirt and other contaminants. In the remaking of old woods, it is imperative to remove traces of wax, dirt and other oily matter to ensure a perfect adhesion of paints
  • First coat can be diluted with 5-10% with clean demineralised water, and allow to dry for an hour before sanding to remove any raise grain.
  • Ensure that HYDROTUFF (ANTI BACTERIAL) is applied uniformly and never leave unsealed surface to avoid moisture.
