HYDROTUFF 2K (ANTI-BACTERIAL) is a catalyzed water-based polyurethane dispersion for interior/exterior coating. It is developed to provide a hard resistant film with excellent abrasion, good opacity, flow properties, high flexibility and environment-friendly. It contains an anti-bacterial component suitable for the protection against algal and fungal attack for surface coatings.

Mix base + hardener with recommended ratio and can be applied by brush or spray. The surface to be coated must be free from dirt and other contaminants. In the remaking of old woods, it is imperative to remove traces of wax, dirt and other oily matter to ensure perfect adhesion of paints.
The first coat can be diluted with 5-10% with clean demineralized water, and allow to dry for an hour before sanding to remove any raised grain.
Ensure that HYDROTUFF 2K (ANTI-BACTERIAL) is applied uniformly and never leave an unsealed surface to avoid moisture.
HYDROTUFF 2K (ANTI BACTERIAL) has good resistance without additives. It is resistant to chemical stabilize from Level 1-B DIN 68861-part 1. HYDROTUFF 2K (ANTI BACTERIAL) does not contain heavy metal and therefore, it can be used for toys in accordance with European Std’d EN 71-3.
The drying room temperature should not be lower than 15ºC and the humidity must be less than 85ºC. If the condition is beyond the required temperature, the possibility of slow drying smooth film and less chemical resistance. It is recommended for a good dry by force drying without humidity starting from normal temperature up to 30ºC.
Due to the thermoplastic of the water-based resin, the drying during piling is delicate which may result in a different effect. However, force drying plus Catalyst will improve the risk of piling.
