For coating previously primed or phosphate iron and steel such as refrigerators, air conditioners, automobile parts, furniture, general metal and industrial appliances.

Specific Gravity – 1.0+/-0.2 kg/L
Flash Point – 23ºC
Coverage – 15-18 m2/L @ 30 mic. DFT
Baking – 30 minutes @ 120ºC
Flash off time – 10 – 15 min.
Hardness (sward) – 20-30 (30min @ 120ºC)
Impact Resistance – No Crack (Passed@144 in/lb)
Flexibility (800 Bend) – No Crack
Abrasion – Excellent
Adhesion (Tape test) – B5
Spraying Viscosity – 18-20 secs FC # 4
Spraying Pressure – 45-60 psi
Spraying Thinner – BE Thinner #165
- The substrate to be coated should be cleaned, free from oil, grease and other contaminants.
- Galvanized steel, aluminium and light metal alloy should be chemically pre-treated or wash primed.
- Generally, for steel surfaces a primer coat of Baking Primer is recommended to obtain optimum adhesion and durability.
