MAS VELO is based on special resin and fillers to provide interesting decorative paint for external and internal surfaces. It is formulated to protect the substrate from efflorescence and aggressive agent present in the environment.

Gloss – Eggshell
Specific Gravity – 1.10 – 1.20 kg/L
Viscosity – 14000 cps.
Touch Dry – 1 – 2 hrs.
Dry to Recoat – 3 – 4 hrs.
Flash Point – 650C
Water Absorption – =0.10kg/sq.m.h
New Substrates:
- New concrete should be cured for at least 28 days.
- The substrate must be free from any form of contaminants.
- Apply 1 coat of MAS Masonry AR Primer as impregnating sealer.
- Level the surface with MAS PVA Wall Filler and sand until smooth.
- Apply 1-2 coats of MASCRYL#1000 as an intermediate coat. Application of 2 coats of as VELO as indicated in application techniques.
Old Concrete (Previously Painted)
- Remove all blistered, cracked, and peeled off paint from the surface.
- Penetrated paint must be cleared and treated with 3% ammonia and water.
- Glossy finish coat must be sanded.
- Apply 1 coat of MAS Masonry AR Primer as impregnating sealer; apply 1-2 coats of MASCRYL #1000.
- Apply 2 coats of MAS VELO in any chance of application techniques.
