In the remaking of old wood and timber it is imperative to remove traces of wax, dust, dirt and other contaminants to ensure perfect adhesion.
Solid woods that contain tannin oil must be treated with isolator prior to the application of the sealer.
If the Isolator has been kept for drying in 12 hours, the coated surface must be sanded well for better anchorage.
Paint should be used within the pot life after components have been mixed together.
Never leave drums of Catalyst open.
Mixing ratio should be correctly observed.
Paint should be used within the pot life after components have been mixed together. Pot life decreases at higher temperature.
Bubbling due to 4-5 coat within relatively short time likely to occur in summer. 1~2 thin initial coat and longer recoating interval (50-50 minutes) eliminates bubbling.
Never leave the catalyst open.
