PU motherpearl plain
PU MOTHERPEARL PLAIN is a two component polyurethane material based on acrylic resin and selected pearlescent pigments suitable to perform an attractive – looking effect. It has a natural, pearly white transparency that gives a colouristic effect according to the colour of the substrate.

PU MOTHERPEARL PLAIN is recommended for all types of woodworks, kitchen, cabinets for water protection, internal doors and frames, head boards and drawers.

Specific Weight – 0.980 kg/L
Flash Point – 21°C
Coverage – 8 – 10 m2/L
Mixing Ratio:
PU Motherpearl Plain – 100% by volume
Catalyst #016 – 50% by volume
PU Thinner – 20-25% by volume of the total A+B
The surface to be top coated with Motherpearl Plain should be primed with either polyurethane primer or polyester primer.
Apply 1 or 2 coats of Intermediate coat. (Any choice of colour). Let it dry for 20 min. and sand it with very fine sand paper.
Apply 1 – 2 coats of Motherpearl plain, horizontally and vertically.
Drying Time:
Dust Free – 20 – 25 min.
Set to Touch – 2 hrs.
Pilling Up – 24 hrs.
Hard to Dry – 6 hrs.
