PU MOTHERPEARL HAMMER TYPE is a two component polyurethane material based on acrylic resin and selected pearlescent pigment with the addition of special additives that gives a hammer-like finish suitable to perform an attractive looking effect. It has a natural, pearly white transparency that gives a colouristic effect according to the colour of the substrate.

PU MOTHERPEARL HAMMER TYPE is recommended for all types of woodworks, kitchen, cabinets for water protection, internal doors and frames, head boards and drawers.

Flash Point – 210C
Coverage – 8 – 10 m2/L
Mixing Ratio:
PU Motherpearl Hammer Type 100% by volume
Catalyst #016 – 50% by volume
PU Thinner – 20-25% by volume of the total A+B
The surface to be top coated with PU Motherpearl Hammer Type should be primed with either polyurethane primer or polyester primer.
Apply 1 or 2 coats of Intermediate coat. (Any choice of colour). Let it dry for 20 min. and sand it with very fine sand paper.
Adjust air pressure to 10 – 15 psi and spray uniformly PU Motherpearl Hammer Type. Take note that application must be in a single stroke process.
