Application – Temp. of the substrate should be a minimum of 5ºC.
New Steel/Shop Primed:
Abrasive blasting to minimum Sa 2 ½. If sandblasting is not possible, power tool cleaning or wire brushing is recommended for a minor touch-up. All damaged primers and contamination should be removed and thoroughly cleaned prior to the final painting.
Apply quick-drying primer before application of HAMMERTONE.
Maintenance:
Remove oil, grease and other contaminants prior to final top coating.
Dry hard – 25 – 30 minutes
Dry to touch – 10 – 15 minutes
Dry to recoat – 30 minutes
Quick-drying primer – 1 coat
Hammertone – 1 coat
