EPOFLOOR – S is a solvent based, two-component epoxy system containing an epoxy resin and polyamide hardener. The cured film forms a hard with excellent adhesion to concrete and it cures to a semi-gloss monolithic finish which is easily cleaned.

EPOFLOOR – S is specially formulated to give excellent floor coating for concrete and ideal for application for commercial, industrial and chemical plants. It is highly recommended for airports, car parking areas, hangars, warehouses and showrooms.

Chemical and abrasion resistant.

Flexible and waterproof.

Non-toxic when fully cured.

Available in wide range of colours.

Colour – RAL/ as required

Specific weight (mix) – 1.12 kg/L

Mixing ratio – 4 : 1

New Concrete:
Allow new concrete to cure for 28 days, and surface should be sound and no strange particles prior to application. Ensure that the surface to be floored is properly etched and washed before the application of EPOFLOOR.

Old Concrete:
Old concrete should be clean and in a good state of repair i.e, cracks, holes and other irregularities should be filled with epoxy grout and mortar or epoxy non-shrink putty. Existing paint should be removed by grit blasting or by heavy-duty mechanical grinder. Paint stripper is not recommended because they leave a waxy residue, which is more difficult and will affect bond formation of EPOFLOOR – S. Oil and grease should be removed by steam cleaning in conjunction with a degreasing solution.

Priming:
Concrete floors should be primed with 1 coat of Uniseal #110 as a concrete conditioner prior to the application of EPOFLOOR – S.

Mix component A and B at specified ratio ensuring they are complete homogenous. After thoroughly mix, allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes. Apply either by brush or roller. Ensure that the area is completely coated uniformly and the overlapping should not be visible. Anti-slip can be obtained by sprinkling fine grade of silica to medium or coarser grain size depending on the required texture in the first coat. Remove all loose or excess aggregates by vacuum prior to the application of the final coat to completely seal and cover the surface. A minimum film thickness of 50 microns per coat should be observed. This can be increased where specifications requires. Epofloor – S should not be applied to a surface to a damp conditions or having a relative humidity higher than 85%.
