EPOCOAT HB is a solvent based, two-components epoxy system containing of an epoxy resin and polyamide hardener. It is formulated to provide high build coating and excellent resistance.
EPOCOAT HB gives an excellent coating for steel structures, concrete and ideal for application of commercial, industrial and chemical plants.

Steel:
Surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and some foreign matters. Recommended methods for repairing steel are by Sa 2 ½ sandblasting, wire brushing and de-rusting.
Concrete:
Allow new concrete to cure for 28 days, surface should be sound and no strange particles prior to application. Ensure that the surface to be coated is properly etched and washed before the application of adequate sealer prior to the application of EPOCOAT – HB.
Priming:
Steel Surface should be primed with Epoprime Basecoat or Epobuild Primer ZP prior to applications of EPOCOAT – HB. Concrete should be primed with 1 coat if Uniseal #110 as a concrete conditioner prior to the application of EPOCOAT –HB.
Mixing and Application:
Mix component A and B at specified ration ensuring they are complete homogenous. After thoroughly mix, allow the mixture to stand for 15-30 minutes. Apply either by brush, roller or airless spray gun.
